Melting / Furnace Operator - Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities

• Operating Melting Furnaces: setting up, monitoring, and controlling the operation of melting furnaces.
• Loading Materials: load raw materials such as scrap metal, ingots, or alloys into the furnace in accordance with established procedures; accurately measure and weigh the materials to achieve the desired metal composition.
• Monitoring Temperature and Conditions: constantly monitor and regulate temperature, pressure, and other conditions within the furnace to ensure the metal or alloy reaches its molten state and maintains the desired properties.
• Alloy Mixing: add specific alloys or additives to the molten metal to achieve the desired quality, composition, or characteristics.
• Skimming and Cleaning: remove impurities, slag, and unwanted materials from the surface of the molten metal to improve the quality of the final product.
