Job Description

• Provide expert technical support and services in light, scanning, and transmission electron microscopy for research and diagnostic users within the College of Medicine & Health Sciences and other departments and colleges in UAE University.
• Operate and maintain Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopes.
• Maintain vacuum systems, chillers, cryogenic and gas systems, and ancillary laboratory equipment.
• Prepare and process biological specimens for EM studies, including fixation, embedding, ultramicrotomy, staining and examination.
• Prepare laboratory reagents and resins for microscopy work.
• Perform image acquisition, analysis, and calibration for high-resolution imaging.
• Train and assist students, researchers, and faculty in microscopy techniques.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Cell Biology or Morphological Sciences.
