MEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for supervising, evaluating and consistently improving the Coding & Medical Practice operations. In conjunction with each DTC Physician, this role will review and assure DTC medical policies and procedures are followed consistently. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff, including, Medical Practice Staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Tracks all Orders, Interim, MPA tracker, and 485 to ensure signatures are obtained timely, and MPAs are following up and escalating appropriately when notes and orders are not received timely.

+ Tracks and ensures that all notes are in for all provider visits, including but not limited to Start of Care, Revisits, Semiannual, and consultations.

+ Oversight of the Medical Practice Staff to ensure that all paper documents received are scanned and uploaded into the EMR.
