Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the manager in optimising the balance between the beneficial and deleterious effects of radiation, and play a key role in the installation of new equipment with regard to the radiation protection of patients, workers and the public, including the design of radiation shielding.
- Identify problems and formulate strategies for their solution, interpret new or non-standard information, evaluate unusual situations in a scientific way, communicate scientific opinions clearly and accurately, recognise erroneous situations and take appropriate corrective actions.
- To provide professional support in other areas of medicine such as photodynamic therapy, optical imaging, use of lasers, therapeutic use of ultrasound and physiological measurement.
- Update professionally through continuing education, courses and training programmes.
