The NZBS Blood Bank based at Wellington Regional Hospital is an exciting and fast paced environment, often responding immediately in emergency situations for patients in need. What makes this role different to other Scientist roles, is at the end of the day, you know that you have been directly involved in someone's care.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties related to pre transfusion, antenatal and diagnostic testing and the issue of blood and blood products for clinical purposes.
