Mechanical Tradesperson (UG)

The Role
Perform maintenance tasks both breakdown and servicing on fixed plant. Assist with the ordering of parts by liaising with local service providers and the Aurelia Metals own store system while ensuring a safe and productive work environment is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and manuals with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production
• Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise processing/manufacturing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures
• Maintain cleanliness of shops and work areas
• To be a part of the callout teams
• Maintain cost focus and reduce wastage of materials
• Provide input into planned maintenance tasks
