Mechanical Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter
Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: £30,000–£48,000+ DOE + Overtime
Job Type: Minimum 6 month contract (Discussion after)
Our client is a well-established engineering company specialising in the maintenance, refurbishment and servicing of industrial equipment.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join their engineering team based in Swadlincote.
The Role
As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and rebuilding specialist industrial processing machinery to OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, diagnose and repair industrial processing equipment.
* Dismantle, inspect and rebuild machinery to OEM specifications.
* Replace bearings, shafts, seals and rotating components.
