Westland Milk Products, part of the global Yili Oceania Group , produces high-quality dairy nutrition for export markets. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead maintenance execution and drive plant reliability at our Hokitika site.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance & Services Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of mechanical maintenance across the site—ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective plant performance.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will coordinate planned, preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while driving high standards of execution, safety, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment, and site services
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance, including shutdown and off‑season work
