Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or 2-year technical vocational course.
• Machining, Pipetting, SMAW (NC2), or Certified Plant Mechanic are advantages.
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician in power or heavy industries preferred.
• Proficient in using mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Basic skills in welding, machining, and fabrication are an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO, Permit to Work) and maintenance best practices.
