Job Description
Our client is looking for mechancial fitters To install, maintain, repair, and refurbish,pipework, mechanical plant and equipment within the water and wastewater industry. The Mechanical Engineer / Fitter will ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards, in compliance with WIMES (Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications), client specifications, and health and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
• Install, align, and commission mechanical plant and equipment, including pumps, pipework, valves, actuators,
and associated systems.
• Carry out pipework installation in a range of materials and sizes, including Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel, Carbon
Steel, UPVC, and ABS.
• Undertake pipe fitting, fabrication, and assembly in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Perform planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and refurbishment of mechanical assets.
