About the Opportunity

FMS Group is currently seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our shutdown workforce across multiple mine sites in the Bowen Basin, QLD.

We are looking for reliable tradespeople with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork within heavy industrial and mining environments.

These casual positions offer consistent shutdown work with a variety of roster options available. Successful applicants will become part of a skilled maintenance team supporting critical shutdown and project works across coal mining operations.

Key Duties

• Execute shutdown maintenance activities across fixed plant and mining equipment
• Complete inspections, fault finding, repairs, and component change-outs safely and efficiently
