Our client is a specialist building services contractor currently on the market for a Mechanical Estimator.

The successful Estimator will undertake the preparation of estimates, variations, quantified schedules of rates and bills of quantities , with the purpose of submitting competitive tender bids, following them up and securing work for the company.

Responsibilities:
Log all tender enquiries and open electronic and paper tender files.
Review and print all appropriate documentation (drawings, specifications, prelims, client enquiries, TQ’s, forms of contract, bid submission documentation)
Quantification of labour, materials, and plant, based on take-offs from drawings, detailed review of specifications and other tender documentation.
Prepare and send bid packages for suppliers to price including strict dates for return; follow up to ensure tender prices are received by agreed ...
