Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and highly motivated technologist in Mechanical Engineering. Applicants should have a proven track record in Mechanical Engineering, with a willingness to gain new skills across a range of work that the team contributes to.

The Mechanical Engineering Section consists of a small and friendly team of 5 people, which is based within the Clinical Physics department at the Royal London Hospital. The successful applicant will contribute to the main disciplines within the team, these are: - 

• quality assurance on all surgical instruments entering the Trust.
• repair and refurbishment of Trust surgical instruments. 
• manufacture of x-ray tissue mimicking material.
• maintenance and repair of Trust mechanical equipment (supporting Clinical Engineering and Radiotherapy).
