Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment
Location: Houston, TX
Type: Contract to Direct
Compensation: Depending on experience
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 5 – 8 hours day
System One is e are seeking a high-caliber Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team in Houston, TX. This role is a temporary field assignment working in maintenance and service department.
Mechanical Engineer – Static Equipment is responsible for:
+ Attend vendor and internal team meetings
+ Specify vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, vessel internals and other static process equipment
+ Prepare equipment data sheets, and full mechanical equipment and system specifications
+ Perform technical and economic evaluations, bid tabulations, and prepare recommendations
+ Attend vendor design and fabrication kickoff meetings
+ Perform ASME/NBIC/API code repair and alteration calculation...
