Responsibilities Assists the Senior Manager in managing the safe, effective and efficient preparation, cleaning and repair of passenger trains so that the required number of trains is continuously provided for passenger service Manages, leads and motivates a group of Senior / Assistant Engineers and Senior / Technicians in the corrective and preventive maintenance of the DTL passenger trains Provides technical investigations and analyze structural, system or component problems on rolling stock and recommend solutions and trials Leads the reliability growth program for DTL passenger trains Supervises and co-ordinates implementation of modification works and fleet-wide checks Monitors the performance of trial modifications and prepare reports recommending adoption or rejection of fleet-wide implementation Identifies staff's training needs and implement training schemes.
