Job Description

The role
:We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the detailed design of our systems. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams while being trained and mentored by senior leaders. To excel in this role, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a creative problem solver.

Mechanical Engineers at Saltworks make a positive contribution by:
Translating process designs into code-compliant, fabrication-ready mechanical systems using SolidWorks, while ensuring mechanical integrity and adherence to relevant codes.
Participating in collaborative design sessions with multi-disciplinary teams to meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements while identifying risks and opportunities.
Preparing accurate fabrication drawings using GD&T, and maintaining both internal and external engineering documentation.
