Mechanical Engineer Lead - Data Centre Segment

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative data center cooling solutions utilizing the full Eaton portfolio and third-party equipment through process engineering and continuous improvement techniques
• Provide technical engineering leadership in mechanical design aspects including whitespace design, chiller plants, air handling units (AHUs), fan wall units, and facility water systems
• Develop and implement advanced technical cooling strategies including hot/cold aisle containment, air, liquid, and hybrid systems using validated engineering principles and continuous monitoring systems
• Research, evaluate, and design solutions using emerging technologies such as direct-to-chip liquid cooling and Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs)
• Conduct and/or support Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize airflow and thermal performance, ensuring PUE targets are met or exceeded
