Mining and Metals – Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition.

This position is responsible for the mechanical equipment packages in projects related to copper processing and mining plants (Concentrators, Leaching, SX/EW TruckShop Plants, Tailings Handling Plants, Process Water Plants/Desalination Plants for Mining, etc.) with the ability to coordinate, develop and lead meetings with other Bechtel disciplines and areas, Customer and Vendors; to determine the scope of work, technical and design definitions, in addition to quantity and cost estimates for the mechanical aspects of a project scope.
