GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Engineering position for vehicle assembly tools and equipment.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Professional degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar)
- 2 or more years of experience in a related position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (80% English and Spanish) both oral and written
- Core Tools
- Design software (CATIA / SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
- SAP system
- Drawing interpretation
- Project management
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine the tools required to perform operations.
- Perform safety-related activities.
- Business cases to select the best tools without safety, quality, and/or productivity risks.
- Obtain and acquire tools through the purchasing process, ensuring timely delivery.
- Design tools, accessories, and fixtures according to requirements.
