Mechanical designer (process equipment)

Are you the MECHANICAL DESIGNER for our technology industry customer in Espoo? The open position is with the minerals refining operations spanning a wide array of process equipment. And it is not the typical run‑of‑the‑mill kind of job. Different processes require different solutions. But much is welded sheet metal steel structures encompassing mechanical and chemical processes adding incremental value to the end product. In the role you are part of a design team headed by the chief designer of the customer. After successful ramp‑up, work can partly be done remotely. The assignment is also suitable for a freelance entrepreneur part of our supplier network.

Requirements

• Relevant M.Sc./B.Sc. engineering degree.
• 1‑3 years relevant mechanical design work experience including good quality manufacturing drawings and the commitment to design quality schedules.
• Experience working in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D CAD environment including PDM.
