Mechanical Design Engineer

Established in 1997, SCIREQ is a world leader in the conception, design and manufacturing of precision laboratory equipment for preclinical respiratory research. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary product development team.

As a SCIREQ Mechanical Engineer you will be involved with many aspects of the product life cycle, including conception, design, verification, validation, launch and customer support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Applying mechanical engineering theory and principles to product development
• Designing hardware, including 3D modeling of assemblies and components
• Creating technical drawings for manufacturing
• Developing manufacturing procedures and testing
• Investigating relevant technologies offered by manufacturing suppliers
• Communicating with suppliers to optimize production methods and cost
