Mechanical Cooling Technician

Location: Columbiana, Alabama (Onsite)

Role Overview

This role supports a modular containerized data center facility. The technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the mechanical cooling plant serving a high-density compute environment. The position focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and optimizing chiller systems, serving as the subject matter expert for cooling infrastructure and playing a key role in system uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot chiller systems.

Maintain closed-loop chilled water distribution systems with buffer tanks.

Operate and maintain air-cooled screw chillers and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).

Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and other control systems.

Support system optimization and maintenance planning.
