Mechanic - Ready Mix (Available Immediately)

Job Description: To ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of ready-mix concrete trucks, batching plant equipment, and associated machinery in order to minimize downtime and support continuous production. Education and Experience: Grade 12/ Matric Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic or equivalent (Advantageous) Proven experience working with ready-mix concrete trucks or heavy commercial vehicles and Batching plants or similar industrial equipment Sound knowledge of Diesel engines, Hydraulics and pneumatics, Electrical fault-finding Ability to work independently and under pressure Valid driver’s license (Code 10 or Code 14 advantageous) Willingness to work overtime and attend breakdowns when required Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on: Ready-mix concrete trucks Batching plant equipment Diesel engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform effective repairs Con...
