McGill University Osler Library Research Travel Awards (2026–2027)

The Osler Library of the History of Medicine (McGill University, Montréal) is inviting applications for its 2026–2027 Research Travel Awards , supporting historians, physicians, graduate and postdoctoral researchers, and other scholars whose work engages with the history of medicine and requires on-site consultation of Osler Library collections (rare books, archives, artifacts). Funding is offered through several awards, including travel support up to CAD $5,000 (Bensley) and additional grants typically shared among a small number of visitors (Nickerson; Pivnicki), usually reimbursing travel-related costs. Applications are open until 16 January 2026 , for research to be carried out in the following fiscal year.
