Summary This position is located in the in the APHIS, Veterinary Services, Field Operation, Logistics Center. The position involves a variety of materials handling duties, preservation, packing, repacking, storage and/or shipment and distribution of a variety of veterinary supplies, equipment and materials in support of United States agriculture. Responsibilities The duties may include, but are not limited to: Works independently in a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, handling, and issuing supplies, materials and equipment. Routes and expedites movement of parts, supplies and materials using mechanized, automated, and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems. Performs assignments covered by detailed procedures, such as unloading, visually inspecting, rotating stocks in accordance with standardized operating instructions.
