Material Handling Superintendent

To lead and coordinate all material handling activities across the mining operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of coal, overburden, ROM coal, discard, and related materials. The incumbent is responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining compliance with all safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

Operational Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all material handling activities, including loading, hauling, stockpiling, blending, and coal dispatch operations.


• Ensure efficient and safe operations by monitoring daily production against mining plans and KPIs, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.


• Optimise equipment utilisation, productivity, and cost per tonne moved through effective production planning and scheduling.
