Maritime Safety Officer – Ship & Shore Compliance

I&J, part of AVI, invites applications for a Safety Officer at Waterfront, Cape Town. You will ensure Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance for the site and its vessel fleet. Report to Safety and Utilities Manager; you will conduct safety inspections, maintain the Safety Management System, engage with contractors, and support audits. Minimum 1–2 years in Safety Management; Grade 12; National Diploma in Safety Management; SAMTRAC advantageous; standby duties and offshore work may be required.
