Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing compliance with company’s procedures and all applicable rules, regulations, and industry codes, for assigned vessels.
- Ensure navigation and DP practices meet industry standards
- Ensure operational procedures meet the company’s objectives and that policies are implemented
- Responsible for ensuring correct regular reporting by assigned vessels in accordance company procedures.
- Acts as liaison with assigned vessels and authorities for flag & port state matters.
- Responsible for ensuring assigned vessels are maintained up to date with all applicable publications, charts, and industry codes and guidelines.
- Review and analyze operational performance of assigned vessels and identify areas for improvement
- Responsible for developing and follow up on HSSEQ reporting (Corrective and Preventive actions and Root Cause Analysis) from internal and external audits.
