Marine superintendent

Responsibilities

The Marine Superintendent reports to senior Manager and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels under Stellar Shipmanagement Services Pte Ltd. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee vetting inspections by Oil Majors of vessels under his care, ensuring vessels meet local and international maritime requirements and industry standards.
• Communicate with relevant oil majors and ensure vessels are accepted by the oil majors.
• Conduct pre-vetting inspections and Collaborate with the technical team to address and resolve vetting issues.
• Monitor and support all vessels on operational matters, ensuring adherence to Stellar policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to Masters and Navigational Officers on nautical matters to maintain nautical standards onboard.
