Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Canadian Coast Guard and Fisheries & Oceans Canada.
• Install, commission, maintain and repair electronic equipment, including ship and harbour radars, gyrocompasses, ultrasonic depth finders, satellite positioning equipment, satellite communications, radio telecommunications, networking equipment, public address systems and phone exchange equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing using digital and analog test equipment such as power meters, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
