Responsibilities

• Identify regional, national, and site-specific datasets relevant to marine protected area management across Latin America
• Contact government agencies, academic institutions, and NGOs to identify potential datasets
• Assess datasets for relevance, accessibility, ownership, and technical compatibility
• Lead efforts to obtain access to priority datasets and manage licensing requirements
• Support the curation, cleaning, harmonization, and documentation of datasets for integration into Marine Manager
• Develop two analytical reports combining GFW datasets with newly acquired data to demonstrate practical applications
