Position Title: Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Owen Sound, ON

Shift: Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:00am)

About the Position

The Manufacturing Engineering role is to be the liaison between Engineering and the Manufacturing teams with a focus on improving manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs as well as develop strategies for improving quality and reducing defects. This position requires the following proficiencies:

• Using SolidWorks, add manufacturing details to existing drawings, and to new designs, to outline the optimal manufacturing process for welding, machining, electrical / mechanical assembly, and paint
• Jig, fixture, part and process design using SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and coordinating release into production with ECN
• Liaise with various internal and external groups to handle exceptions and constructively communicate resolution
