Overview
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with knowledge of machining and/or fabrication processes? We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Castle Donington and are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have experience working in a generalist manufacturing engineering role covering NPI, process improvements and SOP development. Salary: dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, managing gated processes and providing regular stakeholder updates.
- Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, including shopfloor support when required.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain key engineering documentation such as BOMs, routings, PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, SOPs, and FAIR reports.
