Manager, Transaction Tax Services

Overview

BDO is looking to hire a Manager for its Transaction Tax Services team. The role can be based out of any of our Canada locations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Lead sell‑side and buy‑side tax due diligence engagements to identify, evaluate and quantify potential tax liabilities and exposures.
• Work with vendors and legal counsel to mitigate exposures before sale processes and review purchase agreements.
• Analyze complex tax issues to design tax‑efficient structures for strategic and private equity acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations.
• Collaborate with team members on designing Canadian and international private equity funds and related management structures.
• Prepare technical deliverables outlining tax analysis and implications to clients.
