Overview

Manager Portfolio Management (Financial Markets). Wellington or Auckland based role in a central location. 5 weeks annual leave and flexi-leave available. You will lead a high performing team and act as a subject matter expert on financial markets.

The role supports the Reserve Bank - Te Pūtea Matua balance sheet and the effective operation of its participation in financial markets. You will work with senior leadership and the Financial Markets directorate to lead and develop the team, set clear strategic direction, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Portfolio Management team executes transactions in wholesale financial markets on a day-to-day basis to implement monetary policy, support liquidity in the domestic banking sector, and manage the Reserve Bank’s portfolio of foreign reserves.
