Job Description
Debbie Burbage Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established SME based in Daventry. This standalone role would suit a “hands-on” individual with strong Excel skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and previous management accounting experience, including HMRC submissions and entry transactions. Initially starting on a temporary basis, with the view that the “right person” will transition to a permanent employee.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager and Group FD, the role includes:
* Prepare monthly management accounts with clear analysis and insight to support decision making
* Take full ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, including detailed variance analysis
* Manage month end close, including journals, prepayments and accruals
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
* Carry out stock reconciliations and ensure accurate inventory reporting
