JOB DETAILS:
Mammo Tech needed asapOperates mammography and ultrasound equipment to produce breast images. Assists Radiologist with breast cyst aspirations and needle localizations and any other special procedures required.1 year exp. in Mammography.-Knowledge and skill of operation of mammography equipment and ultrasound equipment to produce quality examinations.- Knowledge of sterile technique.- 15 C.E. hours in Mammography required.-Graduation from ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology school.-If licensed after April 28, 1999 must have documentation of 40 hours of specific training in mammography including but not limited to: Breast Anatomy and Physiology, positioning and compression, quality assurance/quality control techniques and imaging of patients with breast implants.-Documentation of 25 mammograms performed under direct supervision -8 hours of mammography training specific to digital and tomosynthesis mammography-15 mammography specific CEU's in the last 3 years-ARRT(R)-...
