Job Description
**Maintenance Technician**
**Overview**
The Maintenance Technician supports multiple package‑handling facilities across **Upstate New York** . This role focuses on **preventative maintenance** , troubleshooting, and repair of **conveyor, mechanical, and industrial electrical systems** . You’ll work independently across assigned sites and serve as the **primary maintenance contact** at each location.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Perform **preventative maintenance** on:
+ Conveyor and material‑handling systems
+ Electrical & mechanical equipment
+ Motor controls and PLC‑controlled systems
+ Inspect, service, and repair conveyors (belts, bearings, motors, seals)
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using **blueprints & schematics**
+ **Diagnose and repair:**
+ **480V / 3‑phase power systems**
+ AC & DC motors
+ Motor controls and VFDs
+ Serve as the **primary responder** for equipment breakdowns
