Maintenance Technician – Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic

TransAlta – Highvale Mine (SunHills) site, just south of Wabamun Lake, approximately 65 km west of Edmonton, Alberta.

Reporting to the Supervisor & Planner, Maintenance, this full‑time, safety‑sensitive position requires a proactive and well‑organized individual who values safety and completes assignments in a timely and cost‑effective manner.

This role is part of the USW and is governed by the terms of the collective agreement.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Provide maintenance, installation, and repair functions on a site‑wide basis
• Work collaboratively with the team to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently
