Maintenance Supervisor (Machine Shop)

Responsibilities

• Ensure CNC machine uptime, limiting downtime to a maximum of 2% of available production hours
• Plan and manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
• Lead fault finding and troubleshooting on CNC HELLER machinery
• Manage a maintenance budget exceeding R2 million annually
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including environmental regulations
• Follow company policies such as the code of conduct, Mibco provisions, and other HR policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven experience in budget management
• Proficiency in CNC programming and fault finding
