Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our friendly team at Brentwood Care Centre.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Weekly audits including but not limited to fire alarms, water temperatures, inspecting premises including air conditioning and recording on forms;
- Low level maintenance work to ensure that the setting is safe and well maintained;
- Keep good records of all of the tasks you perform;
Requirements
- Relatively recent experience being a maintenance officer or caretaker;
- Multi-Trader with experience in some of the following – decorating, minor plumbing, handy man duties, as well as minor joinery, electrical PAT testing of items etc;
- Preferably prior experience working in a care home environment (while it is preferred, this is not essential);
- Availability for occasional call outs;
- Lives reasonably locally, i.e. within a reasonable travelling distance
