Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic – Evening Shift
A leading plastic packaging company in Canada is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our evening shift. If you’re hands-on, mechanically skilled, and enjoy troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment (conveyors, pumps, grinders, etc.)
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
Minimize downtime through effective problem-solving
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Maintain maintenance records and manage spare parts
Follow safety procedures (LOTO) and company standards
Work closely with Production and Process teams
Requirements
High School Diploma
3–5 years of manufacturing experience
Strong mechanical skills; electrical knowledge an asset
Experience with pneumatics & hydraulics (required)
