Overview
Staffplus is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. If you are someone who likes working with your hands, fix machines and take things apart, then we are looking for you!
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Scarborough, ON
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour to $33.00/hour
Hours: 1:30pm to 10:00pm (Training: 7:00am to 3:30pm)
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain components including bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Perform welding and basic fabrication as needed
