Maintenance Mechanic Leader

Summary The position is located in the Building Maintenance and Environment of Care Unit (BM & EOC Unit) composed of Journeyman Level Maintenance Mechanics. Experience needed as a Journeyman Level Maintenance Mechanic or Carpenter with construction and /or maintenance background. Previous experience as a Work Leader required. Responsibilities Work with direct supervision of the Building Maintenance and EOC Supervisor. Position is responsible for routine tasks which include checking inventory of shop supplies and materials to ensure that proper amounts are on hand at all times. In addition to the performance and supervision of journeyman-level work, responsibilities include coordinating all manpower and materials necessary for fabrication, installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing, repair, maintenance and inspection of assigned equipment and buildings throughout the Medical Center.
