Key Responsibilities Repairs Diagnose the root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions swiftly. Minimize downtime by quickly addressing faults, defects, and failures. Ensure equipment operates optimally through the application of relevant technical and engineering practices. Collaborate with Production to identify and resolve potential issues proactively. Provide regular reports to the Toolroom Foreman, documenting repairs, downtime, and maintenance activities. Maintenance Perform initial inspections for all process changes to assess equipment condition. Conduct routine inspections to detect potential failures or excessive wear, and perform necessary maintenance. Periodically inspect manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards. Work with Supervisors and Production to schedule preventative maintenance. Ensure parts are available for maintenance routines and report any unusual conditions.
