Maintenance Engineer, Electrical (EIT)

Responsibilities

Provides maintenance engineering support to the Maintenance division and other CMBC departments on matters relating to the safe, efficient and cost‑effective repair and overhaul of fleet vehicles.

Ensures fleet vehicles comply with provincial and federal standards and that related equipment is certified and approved by WorkSafeBC or other regulatory bodies.

Assists Maintenance Engineers, technical support staff, and supervisory personnel on a variety of maintenance engineering projects, studies, test programs and evaluations related to vehicles, components, tooling, test and diagnostic equipment, and associated infrastructure, under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in British Columbia.

Provides project‑management support for bus procurement projects on behalf of CMBC.

Assists the Warranty Administrator on various claim issues.
