Our client is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Port Elizabeth team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection on production equipment
- Perform basic routine preventative maintenance functions
- Assist with general maintenance and repair of machinery
- Assist with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
- Tooling maintenance, including cleaning, storage and minor repairs
- Assist with maintenance, repairs and upkeep of equipment, infrastructure and vehicles
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Escalate machine, equipment and other technical failures
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
