Mainteance Fibre Technician (Cape Town)

Purpose of the Role

Frogfoot is looking for a Maintenance Fibre Technician to join our Maintenance Department. The role is ideal for a hands‑on, technically driven individual who enjoys field work. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fibre optic systems and network infrastructure, inspecting and testing optical components, measuring signal strength, and ensuring optimal performance from the Node through to Access Points. The technician will maintain the Network across Nodes, Distribution, and Access layers, and engage directly with residential (FTTH) and business (FTTB) clients to provide reliable, high‑quality connections.
