Job Description
Minimum Requirements - Qualified Artisan Trade Test (Fitter & Turner, Toolmaker, Turner/Machinist, Millwright, Fitter, Boilermaker or similar).
- N4N6 Mechanical Engineering advantageous.
- 8+ years' experience in a machine shop or heavy engineering environment.
- 3+ years' supervisory experience leading artisans or machinists.
- Strong machine build, repair, refurbishment and maintenance experience.
- Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing, steel, mining or industrial engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, job card systems and ISO standards Key Responsibilities - Supervise and lead the daily activities of the machine shop and workshop team.
