**Job Description**
The Machine Operator sets up and operates band saw equipment to cut bar, tubing, metal plates, and extrusions, and supports production by deburring parts, staging materials, and monitoring material availability and quality. This role plays a key part in keeping machining operations running smoothly and ensuring parts meet quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate vertical and horizontal band saws to cut bar, tubing, metal plates, and extrusions according to specified dimensions and requirements.
+ Set up band saws and related equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe cutting operations.
+ Deburr rough edges on cut parts and in-process parts using grinding equipment to achieve required finishes and tolerances.
+ Inspect cut and deburred parts for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools.
